Recorded on minidisk at 2am in the Okavango Delta Botswana.The strange and haunting sound of thousands of cicadas and frogs. The popping sound is the splash of catfish, leaping out of the water to catch smaller fish, themselves in turn catching low flying insects. Just a taster and a reminder that you cannot let life pass you by without sitting in some completely different worlds and listening to the sounds, taking in the sights ,the smells of this unique world. Sometimes you just gotta sit and listen and stare. |

A brand new sealed 1/4" tape was opened and put on the machine. Backwards by accident. By chance,at the tailend of the tape there were random harmonics and strange sounds of magnetism. These are mixed with recordings of a wasp nest , Microphone gently pushed inside.
Experiments with video game play sounds. Performed live the timing is rawer but these are studio renditions of the live idea.One with sounds from Quake 3 arena and the other from Quake 1.
